Damn and hallelujah, I drove a long way today.

260 miles all told.  Thank you Lord for safety.  I drove from Orebro to Goteborg, about 175 miles. I saw the Emmigrant Museum, and the docks where Gustav Ekdahl and Christina Johansson set sail to America, not knowing each other, not knowing in a few years they would meet and marry and lead to ………my cousins, my brothers and myself.  My travel today seems paltry compared to what my ancestors did.  I learned that Swedish emigrants sailed from Goteborg to Hull, England;  took a train to Liverpool and then set sail across the Atlantic for an Eastern U.S. or Canadian port.

An epic journey.
